1. General Provisions
By booking a ticket with paris-nice-navette.com and/or france-navette.com, you agree to these general terms and conditions of carriage applicable to you and your luggage. Please read them carefully. They must be understood in conjunction with any specific conditions applicable to your country or region.
2. Conditions of the Transport Contract
2.1 General Information
a) The terms and conditions of the transport contract are those stated on the passenger’s ticket.
b) These terms and conditions also apply to free or discounted journeys, unless otherwise specified.
c) All transport is subject to the fare rules in effect at the time of booking.
d) These terms and conditions are established in accordance with applicable European regulations.
e) They can be viewed on the websites france-navette.com and paris-nice-navette.com.
2.2 Chartering and Code Sharing
Some journeys may be operated under code-sharing or charter agreements.
The passenger is informed of the identity of the operating carrier before departure.
These conditions apply when they are more favorable than those of the operating carrier.
2.3 Emergency Plan
In the event of a significant delay, the applicable emergency plan is that of the carrier actually operating the route.
2.4 Predominance of the Law
These conditions apply subject to applicable law. The invalidity of one clause does not affect the validity of the others, unless it is essential to the contract.
3. Tickets
3.1 General Provisions
- The ticket proves the existence of a contract between the carrier and the passenger.
- It is nominative and non-transferable.
- Some tickets at specific fares may be non-modifiable or non-refundable.
- The passenger must present identification and keep a valid ticket.
- In case of loss, the ticket can be reissued for a service fee.
- Passengers benefiting from discounts must be able to provide proof of their fare.
3.2 Validity Period
- Valid for 2 months from the date of issue or the first trip.
- Extension possible in case of illness, death, or proven impediment.
- Extensions cannot exceed 45 days from the date of death.
3.3 Force Majeure
In the event of inability to travel due to force majeure, the carrier grants a voucher valid for one year, subject to supporting documents.
4. Rates, Taxes and Fees
- Fares cover the journey from the point of origin to the destination.
- Fees, taxes, and surcharges imposed by authorities are the responsibility of the passenger.
- Issuance fees may be added to the total price.
- Payments are made in the currency of the country of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
- In the event of a clear pricing error, the reservation may be canceled.
5. Reservations
- A reservation is confirmed upon registration in the system.
- Some reservations may be non-modifiable or non-refundable.
- The passenger must provide a valid phone number or email address.
- The advertised vehicle type is indicative. The carrier may change it for technical or safety reasons.
6. Personal Data
- Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on the carrier’s website.
7. Special Assistance
- Passengers with reduced mobility or requiring assistance must inform the carrier at the time of booking.
- Specific conditions are available upon request.
8. Check-in and Boarding
- Please arrive 30 minutes before departure.
- Failure to arrive on time may result in cancellation of your reservation without a refund.
- Passengers must have all required travel documents.
9. Refusal or Limitation of Transport
- The carrier may refuse transport for reasons of safety, behavior, non-compliance with documents, non-payment, or unsuitable physical condition.
The ticket may then be canceled without refund.
10. Luggage
10.1 General Information
- The passenger is responsible for the contents of their baggage.
- The following are prohibited: dangerous, flammable, or explosive items, weapons, and unauthorized animals.
- The carrier may inspect baggage and refuse to transport it.
10.2 Franchise and Value
- The baggage allowance is limited in weight and dimensions.
- An additional fee applies for exceeding these limits.
- Valuables must be kept in carry-on baggage.
- A special declaration of interest may be made for valuable baggage.
10.3 Unchecked Baggage
- Limit: 1 piece of luggage that can be placed under the seat.
- The carrier may require you to check in oversized luggage.
10.4 Animals
- Transportation subject to prior acceptance by the carrier.
- Mandatory vaccination and health documents.
- Assistance dogs travel free of charge.
- Failure to comply with these conditions will result in the passenger being held responsible.
11. Timetable
- Published times are indicative and subject to change.
- Only the times printed on your ticket are valid, subject to unforeseen circumstances.
12. Delays and Cancellations
- The carrier makes every effort to minimize delays.
- In the event of cancellation, it will comply with European regulations (Regulation (EC) 261/2004).
- Claims must be submitted via the online form.
13. Overbooking and Downgrade
- In the event of overbooking, the passenger receives the compensation stipulated by law.
- In the event of a downgrade, a partial refund of the ticket is provided according to regulations.
14. Refunds
- Processed according to fare conditions and applicable law.
- Requests must be submitted to the carrier using the dedicated form.
- No refunds will be issued after ticket expiration or in cases of fraud.
15. Onboard Behavior
- Passengers must comply with staff instructions.
- Smoking, vaping, and consuming personal alcohol are prohibited.
- The use of electronic devices may be restricted.
- Any image recording is prohibited without consent.
- Failure to comply may result in expulsion and legal action.
17. Successive Land Transports
When several carriers operate a journey under the same ticket, the transport is considered as a single operation.
18. Administrative Formalities
The passenger must have all required documents (visas, identity documents, certificates, etc.). The carrier accepts no responsibility in case of non-compliance.
19. Carrier's Liability
- Limited to proven direct damages.
- Not liable for losses due to the passenger’s failure to comply with regulations.
- In the event of an accident, liability is governed by the European Convention on the Carriage of Passengers.
- No compensation is due for indirect damages or the aggravation of a pre-existing condition.
